モノに魂が宿る九十九神の文化に影響を受け、

とある他愛のない木の板が様々な人の業を通して神格化していく様を描いた９９（つくも）の物語。

Have you ever looked at the grain of a wooden ceiling and felt as though you were seeing a face?

Inspired by tsukumogami—the Japanese belief that spirits can come to dwell within objects—this is the story of 99 (Tsukumo).

What begins as an utterly ordinary wooden board is gradually elevated and sanctified through the accumulated actions, desires, and moral burdens of the people who encounter it.

Tsukumo is a tale of how human presence and intention can transform the mundane into the divine, revealing how objects, once noticed, begin to reflect the depths of human nature.
